In the framework of the OECD Youth Week 2021 a series of engaging discussions will highlight the urgent need to invest in young people as the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. During the crisis, the hours worked by young people fell by more than 26%. 1.5 billion students were locked out of their schools. And, in most countries, the incidence of mental health issues among the young doubled or more.
This series of events will offer the space to debate the challenges young people face in the world of work, learning, and civic engagement and how to work with them towards a brighter future.
