European Vocational Skills Week 2020

16 July 2020Events

The European Vocational Skills Week is an annual event during which local, regional or national organisations showcase the very best of Vocational Education and Training (VET),  a sector capable of empowering all people with the skills they need for a fulfilling personal and professional life.

The 2020 edition will be held from 9 to 13 November 2020 in hybrid format, partly in person in Berlin, Germany and partly online. In agreement with the hosting German Presidency, the attendance in Berlin will be limited to some 200 people, to respect the requirements of the COVID-19 period.

This year’s Week theme is VET for green and digital transitions.

All VET events or activities in Europe that take place from March until December 2020 have the opportunity of being associated with the European Vocational Skills Week 2020.

Organising an EVSW event or activity is an excellent way to raise awareness about your work in the field of vocational education and training. Approved events are featured on week website, making this a great opportunity to promote your organisation, whether a “closed” event or one that draws crowds for activities open to anyone.

In 2020 organisers are inviting to organise  digital events to promote VET: it could be a webinar, digital press campaign, online careers fair, Facebook Live, Instagram Live or another online gathering.
Whatever local activity you’re planning, if you register it before 31 July, you will have the chance of winning a trip to the main event in Berlin.

Activities need to be register here and when the submission is approved, you’ll automatically be entered into the prize draw.
